Auto-buy. Quite disappointing cover art though.

Compared to A Grounding In Numbers -- one of my favorite album covers ever -- I can understand being disappointed with this one.

However, as long as the music is good (and I'm quite confident it will be), it won't really matter what the cover looks like.

    Artwork comes from the band.

    Excellent. EXCELLENT!

I think it's an OK cover which I'm sure has some idea to it. Very basic, but not too trivial at that - or banále.

I love A Grounding in Numbers and thought sme of the improvs as well as the Atmos recordings were good. So I'm anticipating this one too.

I think the cover is pretty cool.

    And this will be owned.

I like the cover too. Three seniors out for a stroll at the assisted-living facility!

Ah, now that you mention it...

The rippling water plays into the title, since the water was very clearly disturbed.

    Pretty cool!

Anything VDGG is auto-buy for me, but I'm disappointed they can't patch in up with Jackson, damn it!

Apparently yes, Hammill and the others decline to elaborate but clearly Mr. Jackson did not take the reunion seriously enough to commit at the same level as the other three... none of us can judge or take sides of course - it's like you parents are divorcing and asking you who do you want to come live with?

    Holy fuck I sound pathetic!

They've asked Kenny G. to sit in on this new one. Apparently he's ubiquitous in the music.

No Jackson, no party. Hammill's voice and lyrics and Jackson's sax make VDGG appealing for me. Actually I can't connect with the last two albums. The best track of VDGG after reunion is Nutter Alert for me where Jackson contribution is significant.
