My fav is Metempsychosis by Arzachel (1969)
A dirty, noisy, spacey, experimental and timeless psychedelic rock track. And also, I'm a big fan of Maestro Hillage.

I picked up Morte Macabre-Symphonic Holocaust a week or two ago,and the title track keeps finding its way to my cd player.Right now, this tune is my favorite psychedelic track.*
The tune takes a while to achieve escape velocity, but, man, when it does............

"please do not understand me too quickly"-andre gide
My favorite psychedelic track starts with the first note of Alone Again Or and ends with the last note of You Set The Scene.

"My choice early in life was either to be a piano player in a whorehouse or a politician, and to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference"
President Harry S. Truman
I'd have to pick "The Ballad of You & Me & Pooneil" from After Bathing at Baxter's.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.
I thought about picking some obscurity to show how much knowledge I have, but decided to go with the actual song fits best. :-)
I'm not lazy. I just work so fast I'm always done.
Tough to pick just one, so I'll go with one that I used a few years ago when I was fiddling around with Windows Movie Maker for the first time.
I thought of this one first
"Always ready with the ray of sunshine"
...if just for the intro.
Amboy Dukes- Journey to the Center of the Mind

Tough to pick just one. I guess I will choose this one:
Pink Floyd - See Emily Play
[...if just for the intro.]
I don't think I've ever seen that era of Yes described as psychedelic before but I suppose if 21st century schizoid man is psych sure why the fuck not?
A Very Cellular Song.
"Amoebas are very small"
"Electrallentando" by H.P. Lovecraft, I think.
Alternatively "Wind Cheetah" by Tyrannosaurus Rex (it nearly brought my mushroom voyage to the end of flat Earth), "Song for Our Ancestors" by the Steve Miller Band, "The Fool" by Quicksilver Messenger Service or the entire side 1 of Dead's Anthem of the Sun.
Or the entire debut album by Groep 1850 - or WHAT THE HELL?!! Pick one, he said. There's never just "one". Even f'n Hitler wasn't alone, or as Brecht said of Alexander the Great: "He conquered all of Persia on his very own, did he? He didn't even bring a cook?"
"Improvisation is not an excuse for musical laziness" - Fred Frith
"[...] things that we never dreamed of doing in Crimson or in any band that I've been in," - Tony Levin speaking of SGM
Grateful Dead - Truckin' and Beach Boys - The Trader
Wysłane z mojego Nexus 5X przy użyciu Tapatalka
The grandaddy of them all - The Byrds' "Eight Miles High."

Looking forward to my day in court.
I Just listened to the entire unedited version of Green Eyed Lady by Sugarloaf. Sure it was a pop song, but it has its moments. Either that or Inagadadavida - live version.
I got nothin' :
...avoiding any implication that I have ever entertained a cognizant thought.

We are the grandchildren of apes, not angels
But only we are gifted with the eyes to see
On days without FEAR, when our heads are clear
That angels, we could be
