I think on Walk on the wildside there are 2 bass-parts, one electric and one acoustic.
German group Die Schände had a bass-player and a guy playing tuba.

As far as I know, whenever he has played alongside Top in Magma, Bussinnet played piccolo bass rather than a normal bass. But Philippe and James Mac Gaw did the Ourgon/Gorgo thing on occasion.
Not sure I've seen it mentioned but the whole of Bitches Brew was recorded with 2 bassists (double bass and electric bass).
Yes, Lou Reed's Walk On The Wild Side features both double bass and electric bass simultaneously and must be the most popular song to do so.
Not just a Genesis fanboy.
Pretty common in Jazz, specially Fusion - I became aware of that in Bitches Brew with the Electric/Acoustic combo... of course people have mentioned Spinal Tap.

When he wasn't acting as the only bass player in the group, Roy Wood doubled up with the various bass players of the Move every once in a while. The Looking On album contains some of the heaviest thuds I've ever heard on record.
I'm not sure if it counts, but in Animals as Leaders you have two guitarist who both also covers the low end.
By accident I found this clip form the Bohemian Groove Orchestra, featuring Stormvogel. As you can see they have two bass players; David de Marez Oyens is a well known name in European jazz/fusion, Wiro Mahieu is the bassist on the left who also plays upright bass (see second clip).
Groovy stuff!
My guess it's his mother as she composed a piece called Partita For David in 1960, the year David was born.

I tried to find out if she was his mother, but couldn't find any information, but I suppose you are right. It is also not really a common name.
Two of the people in the YouTube clips you posted: Stormvogel and David de Marez Oyens are also in a video in the synthesizer gear porn threat.
Here's some more information on this project, one of the many Stormvogel has been part of: http://www.stormjazz.nl/page3.html

I mentioned Volta do Mar A couple years back in this thread, but here's a tune from them.
Styx occasionally takes Chuck Ponnozzo out of the freezer to play a few songs.
Kebnekajse also has two bass players. I had no idea about this until I saw them live a couple of months ago (and still couldn't quite figure out why they have two, although apparently both have been in the band for a very long time).
Flying Luttenbachers had a two bass and drums line up for the album "Infection & Decay" where they cover "De Futura" in a pretty rad fashion!

Let's not forget the current lineup of Nektar with Mo Moore and Randy Dembo, and I suppose we should mention Tony Levin's Stick Men. Also, Tony Levin and Danny Thompson both played bass on "No Way Out" on Peter Gabriel's Up album.
