2112 set to rock Dublin’s Sugar Club

Ireland’s premier Rush tribute band, 2112, will bring a spectacular audiovisual rock experience to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rush’s Classic album “2112” at Dublin’s Sugar Club 18th June 2016.
A two hour extravganza of RUSH favorites. 2112 will recreate the classic songs form “Moving Pictures” “Hemispheres” “Grace Under Pressure” “Signals” and Power Windows”. Fans can also expect to hear Rush anthems including ‘Spirit of Radio’, ‘La Villa Strangiato and Xandadu, Tom Sawyer & Freewill.
2112 are of course named after Rush’s fourth album, released in 1976, now considered one of the seminal prog rock albums of all time. The band will also perform ‘2112’, the twenty-minute seven-part title suite from the album in full.
Visual artist Carl McDonnell has created a truly stunning visual accompaniment to the show which will lead you through Neil Peart’s dystopian vision; a modern day city in “Camera Eye” and historical horror movie homage to “La Vill Strangiato”. The visuals and music combine to create an immersive and hypnotic Rush experience.
