    Awesome album.
By the way, this monumental on Lamagaius album cover is from former Yugoslavia; in the 70s, it was built with many others - in the glory of Yugoslav partisans who died in the battles against nazis in WW2 - and all of those monuments are very futuristic; here are few of them, including that one from Lamagaius cover:

And so on.... They are scattered throughout all the territories of the former Yugoslavia.

Maybe the authors were listening to krautrock

The most famous of which is probably the one at the site of Jasenovach, the Ustase death camp. That sculpture is gigantic, and rightfully so.

I agree with the dunno in that so-called Titoist Brutalism in Yugoslavia was more worthwhile than Stalinist and post-Stalinist sculpture in the USSR.

But back on topic: that track is pretty cool! Is this just a one track digital album? I can not find a CD for sale.

Lamagaia have a new album out:

    https://youtu.be/r4M_y5dmwLU

It carries on mining that kosmiche vein - in a very good way!

There's a band camp site where you can buy a download of the album for a fiver plus change: https://lamagaia.bandcamp.com/album/s-t

Great news, Lamagaius has 3 releases (including the one in this thread)...!

    Just bought it!

Thanks and oh yes...LOVE those buildings/Sculptures!

This song Lamagaia is much better than their older and newer stuff (IMO)...

Thanks Spacefreak, can you recommend any other songs in a similar style?

I'm also loving both that band and those sci-fi monuments.
Incidentally, while on the subject of neo-kraut, let me remind folks that Ketil Einarsen's new project Weserbergland is very soon releasing their debut album, aptly titled "Sehr Kosmisch Ganz Progisch". It's very different from the above Can-isms, this is maximalist neo-kraut with added elements of post-rock, symphonic prog and Jaga Jazzist-style chamber fusion.

Hopefully this video is visible to folks even if they're not on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/15106789092...0526111556646/

The new Lamagaia is pretty good. A bit heavier than the previous album.

That sounds great! Do you know where I can buy it? Couldn't find any links. Paging Mattias.
