Joe Jackson returns to the US/Canada

We saw Joe's Fast Forward tour in December here in town at the Academy of Music (Northampton MA) and it was one of the best shows we saw last year. Here he comes again!

6/16/2016 Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts Scottsdale, AZ
6/18/2016 Spreckles Theatre San Diego, CA
6/19/2016 Fox Performing Arts Center Riverside, CA
6/21/2016 Palace of Fine Arts San Francisco, CA
6/22/2016 The UC Theatre Berkeley, CA
6/24/2016 Queen Elizabeth Theatre Vancouver, Canada
    6/25/2016 Royal Theatre Victoria, Canada
6/27/2016 Jack Singer Hall Calgary, Canada
    7/7/2016 Ottawa Bluesfest Ottawa, Canada
7/8/2016 Center For The Arts, University At Buffalo Buffalo, NY
7/9/2016 Cathedral Hall, Trinity Commons Cleveland, OH
    7/11/2016 Ridgefield Playhouse Ridgefield, CT
    7/12/2016 Wilbur Theatre Boston, MA

    Think we may hit Boston.

I think I've probably grilled you about that before, because I think you gave the same answer. Carry on!

Don't know about that, but he's an innovative and eclectic artist who puts together a superb band which can play a very diverse repertoire. His last video, which I dvred on the AXS channel, was awesome. Since he expands from way beyond prog into jazz and big band, it's difficult to say he isn't Prog, except his stuff isn't all that way, especially the early stuff. It's not guitar heavy and has an emphasis on vocals which to many makes it depart from Prog.

BTW, I did consider posting this in the What's On, What's New forum but things tend to get overlooked there at times.

I've read that in Vancouver at least, there will be a solo set and a band set. Lot's of respect for Graham Maby on bass.
    I remember tomorrow

That was the structure of the show we saw in December. A short solo piano set followed by the band. Graham rules.

Graham Maby is a fine bassist who most certainly could play in a prog band.
