New music from Adam Wakeman and Snakecharmer

Though he is contributing a more subtle Hammond here, this is the debut release from Adam Wakeman with Snakecharmer:

Pretty good song, imho. Does remind me of a bit of early Whitesnake and maybe a little Bad Company. I certainly know Moody and Murray from Whitesnake, and Wisefield from Wishbone Ash. Not familiar with the vocalist or drummer though.

Micky Moody - guitar, slide guitar, vocals
    Neil Murray - bass
    Laurie Wisefield - guitar, vocals
    Adam Wakeman - keyboards, vocals
    Harry James - drums, vocals
    Chris Ousey - lead vocals

And early review on their new album is pretty glowing: http://www.realgonerocks.com/2013/01...-snakecharmer/

Musically it's pretty decent, but the lead vocalist has an irritating ultra-Steve Perry unintelligibility. The only words I could make out were the title!

... and Murray, of course, was also in National Health!

The band is back, though this time minus Micky Moody. Simon McBride (who tours with Don Airey and Ian Gillan) takes his spot in the band:

Unlike Oliver, Adam bears little resemblance to his dad.
