This was a Kickstarter release, so I'd think it was mentioned here before, but I'm not sure. I contributed, and almost threw this on last nite but opted for Rush R40 instead. LOL. Pretty dissimilar!

I think they did mention recently that there would be a general release. Fine with me!

I contributed/bought the audio release of the Union Chapel concert.
The singing, musicianship and recording are excellent, but it lacks some of the impact I saw live.

I saw them on that tour, so I have no need of the video.

The recording and release were funded through:
    https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/r...n-london-dvd#/

...so I'm not aware of any general release.
At the moment it's limited to the indiegogo contributors.

Who's the bass player there? it's not David Keyes. I've seen Annie live so many times that I don't need this, but it doesn have an appealing visual effect.

I'm such a huge fan of Renaissance, I love them. I also love Tom Brislin, he's brilliant. But, this sounds like an updated version by a cover band (it is) and totally misses the feel of the original recording. It lacks energy and feels clinical like the previous DVD. Annie's tone has not improved either.

I would buy this in a nanosecond otherwise, but I'm going to pass.

I concur. We saw Annie's Christmas show this past Christmas and she was visually upset at losing her voice a few times. It's a shame.

Their Facebook page lists the bass player as Leo Traversa. I saw mention somewhere (I can't find the link at present) that David Keyes couldn't tour due to health reasons. I hope that it's nothing serious.

Another poster mentioned that the DVD release is limited to indiegogo contributors, but the Renaissance website has a link to amazon.com where it appears to be available on general release.

The guy replacing Michael Dunford is the artist formerly known as Mark Lampariello, who was in a later 1980s incarnation of Renaissance, but is now known as Mark Lambert.

I saw them in NYC and in Tarrytown on their last two "tours" and also NEARfest, and thought all three shows were great. I think her voice still sounds great.

I'll pick this up, if it gets released, as Renaissance never comes to the West Coast!

As others have pointed out, the DVD is indeed available from Amazon USA (with worldwide shipping.) It is not in general retail distribution, however: other than the band's web site and Amazon, there are no other retail outlets for it at present (with the possible exception of importers who buy in bulk from Amazon.)

great setlist, the band plays well together and the acoustics in that church were fantastic. Annie still has it! the only problem i had was the new Bass player seemed a bit flat. his solo in Ashes was muffled and distant. they should have upped the volume on his amp. even the new songs sound great, i had to take it out again and listen. Symphony Of Light carries it's own with the other classics. leaves you wanting more.

Symphony of Light, in person, is as good as anything else they've done, IMO. I've heard it in concert a few times.

Holding out for the blu-Ray...... I hope it's released soon!!! I saw them when they came to Atlanta last and they are still awesome in my book....once saw them and Gentle Giant share a bill. Now THAT was a great show!

Has anyone heard more about when the blu-ray will be released? I may go ahead and get the DVD. I'm getting tired of waiting.....unless the blu-ray is coming soon...
    So much music....so little time....
