An ósta sean (also Italian) Clue: sean is the opposite of Neil's name.

Crann torcáin (UK) Clue: A "crann" is bigger than a bush

Aisling amharclann (US) Clue: In Irish an "aisling" is a type of dreamy fantasy song

Fathach milis (UK) Clue: not small

Rí corcairdhearg (UK) Clue: Rí is the opposite of Freddie's band.

Sásta an fear (US) Clue: you'll see Fír, the plural of fear, on one toilet door in pubs in Ireland

No. 4: The Cranberries

That would be: an mhónóga (uh waughan-aw-ga) - the cranberries. AND mónóg (mawn-awg) - cranberry

mh = W
ó = AW - the fada on the O makes it a much longer sound. Similar to how the O in Russian is often pronounced as A.
bh = V
á = AAH

bean = woman
an bhean (uh vahn) = the woman
ban (bahn) = women
na mná (nu mu-naah) = the women
banríon = queen (rí = king) Banríon directly translated means woman king.

aghaidh adhmaid - 1991

I start with this one because the pronunciation of aghaidh baffles the shite out of people, and that amuses me, it is pronounced I-yuh. The proper pronunciation of adhmaid however is not far off the English word and will give the game away, so I'll wait with that.

This next one is quite easy to guess
díosal agus deannaigh - 1987

gnó mar is gnáth -1982

is breá i dtírdhreacha geal - 1986 (anthology)

crosóg mhara -1988

laige an duine -1986

It's an 80s synth-pop album by Martin Ansell, a bit like Human League or Duran Duran. It's quite a good album actually. Released on the Island label.
