MIA PE members from the past...

Maybe they're actually here, but under different names. Remember Lino, Goddess (Sara), IamWeasel, & Beth?

Sure. I got the impression with IamWeasel that his life just got busy. I'm pretty sure if he were around he'd use his old handle.

Let's not forget the hilarious Kilgore Trout! I know Lino's not here. They're all on Facebook. Well, don't know about Weasel.

I am friends with all of the above on FB. Not sure if they are still around here, but they are still "around".

    Didn't see that. Thanks.

Hope he's okay - sounds like there are some issues.

    Yes!

Right after I joined around '02, '03 I remember seeing a member named "warrioress". She left not long after I started a thread about the use of the Confederate flag in music. (regarding Lynyrd Skynyrd- she was against it)
I also remember one slightly obnoxious, shoot from the hip member. Smug & a bit confrontational. I think he was from the Netherlands or Switzerland. Maybe Germany. I remember Jazzis didn't like him. Thought he was a Nazi. Ring any bells?

Ohhh! And what about that eccentric one- zbop? Every sentence ended in- "word."

Fortunately I keep all profile photos of Goddess in my memory bank. Sadly, Lino in makeup also takes up space there.

OmegaMonkey I would be rather surprised to see come back. The last time I saw him, was before he was banned from the fiveeightforums, which probably was sometime in 2008 or 2009.

Beth I see on FB and some of the email lists occasionally.

He seems to continue his crusade elsewhere. See the first post on this page and check others by Mike Lewis/John Miner.

    That's our boy!

Regarding Supp, despite others assurances that he was a great guy in person his online persona was pretty damn nasty.

I never met Supp in person but got on fine with him online. He was way out there but raised a smile. I kick myself now for not attending a Nearfest or two. Played the good husband but still ended up divorced

I miss a lot of the old crowd, but keep in touch a little on Facebook. Lots of nice people here still, but felt it had more edge ten years ago. Many will say that's a bad thing, and they are probably right!

I remember meeting Supp at the first Nearest I attended. Was expectiing some loudmouth dickhead and while the loudmouth part was true , he was actually a real cool guy and a lot of fun to party with.

What about William Katt/80's were ok! Or the 10 other names he had which I can't remember right now. What the hell was his original name again?? that dude was a clown.
