Floyd is still around, and making music of his own. He was fading away from PE before we made the switch in 2012. He's on Facebook.

my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
I take it that Bimba was another pseudonym for Wallace?
A. Scherze is Mathias Thallmayer (I think that's his real name) AKA Iconoclast on r.m.p. Loves ELP but hates all Genesis. Go figure.
I think he gets banned for past transgressions. I have no problem with him, but not my call.
Is Mellotrongirl still here?
Shhhhh.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
Bumping this because it keeps showing up in my subscriptions as having a new post. The trouble is, the new post is a deleted one by the psychopath that appeared last night and I think it made this thread a little buggy. Maybe this will fix it.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
Thanks

Luis Nasser is another one that's only on Facebook these days. Too bad because his knowledge was vast and his stories were often hilarious.

I'm fortunate that even though I'm a FB non-participant I am still good friends with Luis and see/talk to him semi-regularly. I miss him here too though. Many here know this about Luis, but for those who don't, my late love Kay (a Univ of WI Asst. Dean & lifelong academic) loved Luis and often said that he was one of the 3 or 4 most intelligent people she had ever met.
And Duncan (or anyone else that talks to him), please give Floyd a virtual hug from the geezer.

Luis is great, yeah. And hilarious. Also the most straight and forthright person you'll ever meet. Kind but firm, if you know what i mean
Not to mention a bad ass on his chosen weapons of music making
I was lucky enough to actually meet and hang with him when we did our little tour of the East there awhile back. A wonderful person.
I believe we also met Floyd in Pennsylvania around that same time? (Not you though, eh Steve?)
Awesome trip, it was. Hugs to him from me as well,
K
