Yes indeedy, quite a piece of work was Beth. But then, there's always Marla......

I remember Beth as well. We met in The Hague, were we visited the Mauritshuis with my dad and another PE member she traveled with. She really loved The girl with the pearl earring.

Vermeer, one of my favorites. This was in Boston last year and I got to stand right in front of it and look at it for as long as I wanted. It was in a sort of odd place, and I'm not sure most of the patrons even knew that it was there, or what it was.

I met Beth once. We met at a Kansas show with Rushfan, Ken Soloman, and Alex. I forget Alex's screen name but "Alex" was part of it. Haven't seen him post in years. Anyone know anything about him?

Alex used to be AJCMixer or something like that. He's good, he's on FB all the tiome. He's a great guy, have spent time with him several times.

How many active female members do we these days? I can think of several that have come and gone but only a handful that still actively post.

Lolololol... every time a thread comes open like the present, we finally get down to worrying about ...

Outside Renate & Jen post regularly (daily), and maybe Esther (ForeverAutum), but she keeps mainly to her Big Brother thread

I suspect some more (not many) still lurk , maybe not daily, but intermittently (I know/suspect Debby is)...

But in that regard, PE is certainly not doing worse than other music forums, that I've posted on: PA, RYM, JMA (none that I can think of) or Rock6070 (in French) have few women posting for years on end, but I woudn't call them main contributors in terms of volume (no offence , ladies, please)
Though for the latter, Rock 6070 is owned and animated by Béatrice ("cool chick" too ).
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

Bear in mind that we only know our members by their screen names. If people don't indicate gender, everyone (mistakenly) assumes they're men.

I'm happy to say that there are actually far more ladies here than most people realize.
    Regards,

    Duncan

How's he doing? Is he still a rambunctious right-wing trouble-maker? He was fun to hang out with.

    Nothing changes!

We met in the same bar that he and I met in about 10 years before.

The only new thing (as far as I could tell) was that he's now riding Harleys.

So we'll put you down as "undecided".
