I was much more struck by the Charle Hebdo killings (some &( mùonths ago) than the November Bataclan thing or yesterday... I guess you start learning to live with it as a background.... Life must go on... And I don't even lose my time watching these indecent time-filling news shows filled with so-called experts guessing what's next. It may sound a bit selfish, but WTF, life goes on, you know. I guess if I was personally struck (a family member caught up in a blast, for ex), I'd start looking at it differently
Actually my third or fourth thought when I heard of the bombs exploding at the airport (I was only 3kms away at the time) was: rats... this is going to fuck up my cultural activities I had planned on this week's holiday... I still plan to visit two expositions and seeing at least three movies, as it looks like they are not going to do that stupid "Brussels Lockdown" they had done last december

I left once for a year or two, then came back with the same name. I've been here since it was on Yahoo, but I've had 3 names, 'davis' the longest. I didn't/don't think anyone noticed. I think I joined as davefest or davefest57, then switched to talldwarf, then settled on davis.
Sorry, folks but ... Cone's original post, and all the replies, may be perfectly true. But PE isn't the place to discuss them.

I have so many FB friends that I know must have gotten from being PE acquaintances... but don't know who they are, what their PE handles were. So I actually may have become friendly with somebody I thought was a goof on PE, without even knowing it! Lucky, i didn't think of too many here as goofs.
