I have all their albums, my only missing piece is a DVD called Legacy that had a very limited release and was very pricey.
But I'm glad Frank keeps the flame going, maybe that still gives hope they might finally play the U.S. someday soon...

My Favorite Eloy album: Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes, a true prog Classic.

"Part 1"? Interesting. Does that mean it's not a double album, or that there will be two double albums? Or one double album and a single?

In any case, I'm interested to hear this. I skipped their last album after seeing mostly underwhelming reviews. It was actually a positive review that made me decide not to bother with it. I listened to a couple tracks as well, didn't seem like a "must have".........and I have almost all their other albums.

while the last studio CD was underwhelming... the double live cd that came afterwards (2016?) was excellent!

Agree the live album was very good. Personally, I thought Visionary was a pretty good Eloy album. No new ground covered, but I enjoy it.

Anything new Eloy is alright in my book! As this is something Frank Bornemann has been hinting at for no less than 25 years (at least as far back as Destination, but perhaps even as far back as The Power and the Passion), it should be worth hearing.

Sadly, the new album has been postponed. Check www.eloy-legacy.com for information.

Boy, I hope not.. I wonder what happened though? Frank with no other musicians suddenly.. Not a good sign

I think this is a minor language/typo issue:

"personnel absence and technical problems have permanently delayed the completion of the production of »The Vision The Sword & The Pyre« Part 1, ultimately leading to the scheduled release on 24 March being cancelled. It would take too long to describe all the details of a long chain of causes here and invoke the circumstances that have now led to us postponing the release. I'm still working continuously on the last final mixes for the work every day from morning to night, and am confident I'll be finished with it soon so that we can quickly provide a new, binding release date."
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Its an issue of language. Frank is working on the mix. I asked when it will be done. I was told it will be done when its done and there was no news. That was about 6 weeks ago.

Hm, I wonder where these guys got their info from then. Well, never mind, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

I'm so much looking forward to this, and of course also the upcoming part two. Not that long to wait now. I'm playing as much Eloy I possibly can these coming days.
