The question is not about album covers, it is about musical covers.

Richie Havens Here Comes The Sun (the first time I heard it, I didn't even realize it was the George Harrison composition)

It's on a Kiss record, but it's effectively an Ace Frehley solo track, since he's the only band member on the track

How about a cover of a cover (by a guy from Duran Duran, backed by a couple Zappa escapees, no less!)?!

The first two songs are covers from Jacques Brel, they sound very different to the original tho' Bowie loved these songs and made his own version. Also the lyrics are in English not French.
David Bowie - My Death, this is a cover from Jacquel Brel - La Morte. This song is eerie beautiful.

David Bowie - In the Port of Amsterdam, also another Jacques Brel song Dans le Port d Amsterdam. This is also a beautiful powerful song.

David Gilmour - Dark Globe. This is a cover from Syd Barrett, here you'll hear Gilmour singing like never before, certainly not has high as this. Very beautiful too.

Oh, you diamond Sonia, Port Of Amsterdam is one of my absolute fav Bowie performances, even though it's a cover, definitely in my top 5.. In fact it is one of the first songs on a Bowie CD-R I made about 10 years ago.
And a song from Syd as well. You have good taste!
