    Wow. That's kind of shocking.

yeah... a bit of scratching the head... but then Sam Adams makes some decent beers and Dogfish Head make some off the wall beers, a couple of which are fantastic like their Indian Brown Ale and Bitches Brew. So this gives them market share from safe (Boston Lager) to crazy (SeaQuench Ale)

    makes perfect sense
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

So Boston Beer is the brewery that makes Sam Adams ales? I guess I never knew that. Dammit. Do I have to start paying attention now, or can I just have a beer?
Can this be the swan song? The final elbow?

Tried a couple pints at a local watering hole:

Stone Got Mad Hops Single Hop IPA

Dust Bowl Hops Of Wrath IPA

Both were very good. Hit the spot on a warm spring day.

Just cracked a Darwin’s Forehead from Fonta Flora. It’s a salted brown porter, and, yep, it’s delicious.

“Mashed with southern select two row barley from our good friends at Riverbend Malt House of Asheville, North Carolina along with a decidedly delicate blend of the finest caramel and chocolate malts. Fermented cool with our preferred house ale yeast for a touch of residual sweetness and a luxurious mouthfeel. Blended with North Carolina sea salt from the Outter Banks Sea Salt Company for increased quenchability. Brewed to comically celebrate Charles Darwin, the extraordinarily complex and contemplative father of evolution.”

I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.

It's just glyphosate. Monsanto assures us it's harmless, maybe even good for us.

For those who are fans of Chocolate Stouts, I can easily recommend Latitude 42 Lucifer's Cuvee. Just delicious. Doesn't quite knock Thirsty Dog Rise Of Mayan Dog off the Chocolate Stout throne, but it's close. I'd love to do a head-to-head with those two, tbh.

I literally work about a quarter mile down the same street from Latitude 42 Brewery, and drive by it both coming and going from work every day. I am not a huge Chocolate Stout fan, but it certainly is one of their better offerings.

Stout is my #1 style of beer but Chocolate Stout is the lowest form for me. I still enjoy a good Choco Stout but for infused Stouts I prefer Milk/Sweet Stouts and/or Coffee Stouts

The next in the Founders barrel aged series is Underground Mountain Brown. Their brown ale brewed with Sumatra Coffee then aged for a year in Bourbon barrels. Due in June. It sounds good to me.

Went to a bbq festival and tried these three brews on tap:

Hop Valley Bubble Stash IPA, Springfield, OR, mosaic hops

Revision IPA, Sparks, NV, simcoe hops

Lead Dog Citra Solo IPA, Reno, NV, citra hops

    All were excellent.
Can this be the swan song? The final elbow?
