Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
In a country diner in Accident MD:
I visited the Dystopian State Brewery in Tacoma and was pleased with their Red Queen ale. Delicious! 5.6% buzz paired nicely with the Puget Sound pizza I had delivered.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Sipping a Founders Breakfast Stout, first one of the year. Yum. 11 days old.
I won a ticket to attend the Goose Island Proprietors Day fest! With that can buy 2 bottles of Bourbon County Proprietors, a bottle of Reserve, snifter and bag, sample the other variants. This is the weekend before the Bourbon County general release on Black Friday. Gonna be fun!!

Hey Firth, did you by any chance try that Alpine Nelson IPA? Never heard of it, but it sounds interesting.
Stopped by the Brew Kettle on the way home. Had 2 Columbus Bodhi DIPAs, which are spectacular, and 5 oz tasters of Dogfish Head Romantic Chemistry IPA (odd, but pretty good,) Rhinegeist Santoku Rice Lager (too much like mass beer x,) and Southern Tier Salted Caramel Imperial Stout (Candy in a glass.)
Yes, I did and it was great, and the description is appropriate. I sampled that, Resurrection, Green Flash Hop Head Red, and the nitro Founders oatmeal stout. Love that Founders for a stout type. The Hop Head hasn’t changed for me, too bitter and sharp. I like hops, but more of the dry hopping impact. Sam Adams Boston Lager has the same kind of bitterness to me. Resurrection is a consistent beer, and good for me.
Good to see all of you "snobs" drinking some fine beer..
Some of my latest purchases from Bruisin' Ales bottle shop in Asheville , NC..
