Thanks to the heads-up of my old friend Renato Moraes, Yesterday I saw Arrigo Barnabé live in my hometown in Brazil. It was a tremendous performance in which he and his band played the whole Clara Crocodilo album (with new arrangements) plus a pair of piano and vocal songs with him and singer Vânia Bastos (who has played with him many times before in his older bands).
It was the first time I’ve seen Arrigo accompanied by a live band and I was completely amazed. His band is now a septet including three ogres [Arrigo (keyboards and vox), Paulo Braga (phenomenal on piano), Mário Manga (outrageously brilliant, guitar)] and four beauties [Ana Karina Sebastião (gorgeous lady on bass guitar, she plays with a smile on her face things that I would never be able to play), Mariá Portugal (hot, fantastic feel, uber-terrific performance on drums), Maria Beraldo (really impressive performance on vox and clarinet, dressed as a sexy-as-hell nurse) and Joana Queiroz (sexily dressed out as cat woman, joyfully playing tenor sax, bass clarinet and vox)].
It was really outstanding how the band were able to play a difficult repertoire like this with such grace and playfulness, especially the ladies, who were always with a big smile on their faces, really enjoying being there.
The best of it all was seeing my two boys (2 and 6 years old) really enjoying the performance. My wife was also there, but she was more prepared because she has seen Arrigo before with me on a two-piano concert with Paulo Braga.
I tried to look for videos of this band and found this, which is from earlier this year. Perhaps not as energetic a performance as the one I saw yesterday, but it can give an idea of what it is. Note that the performance on the link is fully instrumental. The concert of yesterday, on the other hand, was heavily and beautifully sung by the whole band.

Long live Arrigo Barnabé.
