That means the playoffs are right around the corner! I have wanted Palmeri for years. Not counting your guys out. With all games in the division its still a crapshoot for the fourth seed.

I don't know man...Boston always finds ways to win. Of course it didn't help that we lost tonight. Rangers still have a ways to go...not quite there yet, but I can see the light!

In 'baseball terms' - your 4.5 games out with 17 to play.

That would be hard for baseball but with the cheap point from OT - its even harder in hockey.

That said - I am rooting foe blueshirts to make the 4 seed because Apocalyptic Hockey in the playoffs is what I root for.

    Just not tonight!

I like what the Rangers are building how they're doing it: Through the draft and smart trades. Hopefully, the days of signing aging stars to their last big payday to play on Broadway are over. Of course, having high draft picks over multiple seasons make it a lot easier. But guys like LaFreniere, Kakko, Miller, Fox and Shesterkin are some pretty solid building blocks for the future.

Agreed. Let's not forget Chytil and Kravtsov Rangers are rebuilding the right way. I wonder if there's a trade by the deadline though...

Well, that didn't take long. Isles laid an egg the last two games.

Caps laid one against the Bruins the other night. They play them again tonight.

Was this a good trade, seems like the Caps gave up a lot:

The Washington Capitals acquired Red Wings winger Anthony Mantha in a blockbuster deal ahead of Monday's NHL trade deadline, the team announced.

In exchange, the Capitals sent the Red Wings forwards Jakub Vrana and Richard Panik, as well as a 2021 first-round pick and a 2022 second-round pick.

Due in some part to Canucks covid concerns, season now ends on May 16 instead of May 8th?

Why dont they play two period doubleheaders to get it done on time!?

Rangers second straight shutout of the Devils, but can't make up any ground on the Broons. Thanks, Isles.

While the blueshirts and the rest of the East were floppin around, the Isles did y'all a solid by beating the Bs FIVE times in a row while basement dwellers were giving you unexpected trouble early in the campaign....

Tough titties - wasn't likely Isles would go 7-0 vs Boston.

Couldn't any of your teams win last night to help the Caps.

Phlyers should 'adjust' their lineups so they fall from 12th pick into Top 11 to have a shot @ #1 overall in the lottery.

Caps win. I sure hate shootouts, especially in a 0-0 game.

0-0 game against the Isles? Shocking! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I'd be thrilled to see a shootout.

Losing Trouba to a good clean hit from Martin the other night was a killer for the Rangers. At that moment I knew the season was probably done and it showed tonight against Philly. And the Bruins win again too. Bummer. Slightest of chances if we win out, but not lookin' good.

Really good game! Both teams played hard, goalies obviously played well. Opportunities were squandered on both sides. I would much rather see a game like this than a pre-Trotz game where the Isles were always rushing 4 guys and eventually getting caught.

Trouba got rocked, really don't like to see that he got hurt.

Was looking at capfriendly.com and the Rangers are in good position for the future. Doesn't look like its this year as Boston has been winning most all of its makeup games.
