The hits keep coming for the Isles. 6 guys out with covid-19. Nelson got hurt tonight. Getting late early

Wayyyy too much Islanders discussion in here. Makes me feel dirty

I do wish the fishies had a full lineup for our tilt though. I want to see how we'd match up.

Lindgren with the game winner last night with .07 left in the game...fuck yeah!! Yeah it was against Buffalo, but shut up!

So, the New Jersey Devils announced a new 3rd jersey:

While our former Sleepy Captain got a win at UBS before Isles - tonight's game better not end the same way......

When they said the Bridgeport Sound Tigers were becoming the Bridgeport Islanders, this isn't what I thought they meant

I always enjoy watching a Rangers win, and Wed against the Isles was no exception, but really they should have postponed the game and probably a few more until some of the regulars get back. I understand that the league doesn't want to lose all that revenue, but I can't imagine the fans loved paying what has to be big bucks for a ticket to watch Andy Andreoff and Grant Hutton.

...irresistable teasing aside Varlamov could only do so much with that depleted defense. The only noticeable Islander offensively was probably Barzal. Too many penalties in this one ...boo refs!!

I saw that guy - he was giving his girl the business when Isles scored that 1st goal.... then of course the matador D immediately reasserted itself.

Its all his fault - gotta show some respect.

Man - it was the awful.

    Happy Thanksgiving my hockey family!

Watching that game reminds me of the Michael Kamen story when he was working with Roger Waters. RW was having everyone repeatedly go over the same parts and wasn’t getting the results he wanted. Kamen started writing in his notebook and Waters asked him what the hell he was doing. Kamen was writing “I must not fuck sheep” over and over, questioning what had he done wrong in his life to have to endure RW.

Waters must have liked it because he had t-shirts made saying “I must not fuck sheep”!

It’s like watching the Isles right now. ☹️

    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

It sucks the way that the league keeps moving games over to subscriber-only ESPN+.

Another Islander (Casey Cizikas) and 3 staffers on covid protocol. No more games for the rest of the month for the Isles. A little late but necessary.

Already have a subscription to the Isles games and now they want another one?

Yeah, this was my fear with ESPN taking the reigns. Perhaps its just my perception, but it seemed there was more hockey on actual television when NBC still had the rights to it.

Ovi scored his 750th career goal. Where do you guys think he slots in amongst the all-time greats?
