Too bad. That means you missed a nice shutout by the Leafs tonight.

I was watching a replay of the Caps game yesterday against San Jose. With one minute left San Jose scores an open net goal to make it four to two. Both the announcers and I figure game over so I changed channels to watch something else. I look at scores on ESPN and see Caps won 5-4 in overtime. They scored two even strength goals with less than a minute left.

He's not costing us much and will be UFA at the end of the season. It's Bergevin clutching at straws because of the slew of injuries we have, and the fact that if we miss the playoffs (and we will) he should be out of a job, so why not roll the dice.

Yup. We were watching the game last night. It's one of those goals that you have to appreciate even when it's against you. The kid has crazy skills.

that burst of speed to make that move once Reilly bit was incredible! He's a special player for sure. Add Morgan Reilly to the long and ever growing list of players forever stuck on the shit end of a McDavid highlight reel goal

The Wings... can't even hold on to a 3rd period lead against the Wings.... I know we're really banged up now but still... there HAVE TO BE some sweeping changes in the off-season if we continue on this pace.

Artemi Panarin has 25 points in his last 9 games. I'm not used to seeing the Rangers with a legit 'superstar'...it's a lot of fun to watch. Not to mention his defense is just as good. Love this dude

...and a very rare decisive win against the Fishsticks

could this be the best thing to happen in the past 30+ years of the league?

Panarin is on a roll. I knew he was good but didn't realize how good. Wish the Isles got him. Uncle Lou isgoing to have to come up with a scorer or they will not go deep in the playoffs.

Sweet Revenge will be served Thursday at home.

Bruins 0 for 7 in shootouts. The Marchand whiff should count as two losses though.

Gallant is out here in Vegas. The team hadn't been playing up to it's talent level but I don't know if that was GG's fault. Guy takes an expansion franchise to the Cup Final and is out less than two years later? We hadn't fallen that badly but they felt the need to change so change it is.

Of course it's GG's fault! How are you supposed to skate to all those odd time signatures and rocked up medieval madrigals? The team is obviously completely baroque, and this is the opportunity to fix it. Any real fan should know this!

I have no response to that other than you win the internet.

How did I miss this? Couldn't have happened to a better PoS.

GG was an assistant here and I'd like to see him come back. He has all the qualifications required to be a HC in Montreal. As much as I'd like to hang Bergevin out to dry, he has brought in some decent talent and made a few good moves (incl Kovalchuk who has been playing well). I know we have a ton of injuries but if (read:when) we miss the playoffs again, someone has to pay. I think it will be Julien.

Just having a little fun, just couldn't resist that GG reference! I actually know nothing about the issues with the Knights, I don't follow the Western teams that much. However, I was in Vegas recently for CES and was impressed how the city seems to have embraced the team. I was skeptical about how that would go, but unlike some other southern/hot weather markets, it seems to be getting traction in Vegas.

Hope finding a new coach is The Missing Piece they need to move forward. (Just can't help myself).

Even I, as Bruins fan, have to sort of laugh about that. I don't think they've won a shootout yet, but have been in like eight of them. This was surely the most creative and entertaining way to lose one, though!

Is it because he touched the puck or that you cannot back up once you start going forward?
