So here we are once more ...

On train home, gotta stop for some swill, order the pizzas, don the jersey...

So many positives this year. Be nice to get one more 'home game'

HA! That's beautiful. I love the look on Nelson's face - like he's saying "yeah, I deserved that". LOL!

These 2 teams are grinding each other to the nubs. Neither team will have enough left for a well-rested Carolina team.

Crazy finish in that one man. I thought Colombus was gonna pull it off.

Every time I support a team in these playoffs it becomes the kiss of death. Therefore, I’ll support the Bruins (cough, cough) here on in.

TBH, any other team is ok with me (and, no, the hockey gods didn’t read that).

Quick Q- who do you think has been the surprise player of these playoffs?

I dont want the Isles to think they're 'better' than they truly are. I believe Lou will stay the course with his overall plan rather than thinking the team is a couple of pieces away.

Good year. I have Canes here on out.

CBJ playing their worst game of the series. Lucky it's 0-0.

Lou’s got his work cut out for him this off-season. A bunch of UFA’s including Lehner, Nelson , Eberle, Filppula and captain Lee. If the opportunity arises, we have an abundance of d-men to bundle to get a shooting forward.

Congrats to Boston, and hats off to Tuuka Rask. He was the difference.

I thought Colombus played good enough to win actually. Lots of posts, bad luck and Tukka. Plus a 5 minute major that should have been. Oh well! Let's go 'Canes!!!

We all know the Bruins players all read this thread and I went and gave them the bulletin board ammo they needed to completely turn the series around!

Seriously, once they got that line going again it was a different series. Can the Canes stop them?

Blues deserved that win. they were the better team until the 2nd OT where they looked totally out of gas. Thought Dallas was gonna pull it off! Bishop played out of his mind!

What sucks for me is that there goes our conditional 1st round pick for the Zuccarello trade. Dallas had to make it to round 3 for that to happen. Crap!

I'm hopin for San Jose tonight. Can't help but pull for Jumbo Joe.

Yeah, Bishop was the only reason why that game went to OT. He played out of his mind last night--just didn't get a lot of support, though I think that was mainly St. Louis having a really good game as a team rather than Dallas not playing well.

Speaking of Dallas...spent last weekend there attending a couple of concerts. Given that the Stars were in the 2nd round and in the midst of a competitive series I thought I'd see some evidence of 'Stars Fever' while in the city. Nope, not a thing. I did see one guy wearing a Stars hat at the taproom I visited Saturday afternoon but that was it.

Happy Flying Bobby Orr Day - May 10. 1970

Analogous in awwsomeness to Willie May's over the shoulder catch, just an unreal play and its a cup winner too.

    Friggin Bruins....

Ladies/Gentlemen - are we going to just sit here and do nothing while Boston threatens to win the cup again? I think it's high time we took action!

^ Yeah...that series is over. Go blues (but more importantly) go either team from the west!

I like the Bruins well enough, but that city has won enough championships lately. It might be enough to make me root for a team I like less, all things being equal.
