^^^That should pretty well end any hope of Quebec City getting a franchise.

Little known stat - Mike Hoffman (Senators) leads the league in goalposts hit this season with 10. He hit the crossbar twice in the final minute tonight in a 6-5 loss to the Pens.

They say it will be a very deep draft this year with the first 10 guys picked being potential franchise players, so maybe it's a good year to suck ass!

Still half the season left, man!! Rangers are looking' bad too, but I have faith they will turn it around.

20 game suspension, which he's appealing of course.

Habs have got 31 games left ,iirc... Their current record over the last 26 games is 6-19-1. There are 3 or 4 teams ahead of them just for the final wild card spot. It's over man. Price should not set foot on the ice for another game this season. Habs should bottom out and get themselves in the lottery.

I miss the days when you'd get on a hockey board and brag how GOOD your team was.

The Habs weren't as good as their first 20 games but they're not as bad as these last 26. I think they need to do the NHL version of "Suck For Luck" and give up on the season. Start calling up some young guys to see what they have, give older guys a break, and get themselves a top pick in the draft.

If they really want to tank, they will make a trade with Ottawa to obtain Jared Cowen, the human give-away machine.

I was expecting to see him in the line-up yesterday. They've got nothing to lose at this point. They managed to lose a 2-1 lead in the third period, at home, to the Sabres.... Please try to convince me that this season isn't over... It'll be a short hockey-watching season for me because if the Habs don't make the playoffs (and they won't) I'll stop watching the games. It's looking like an All-American tournament this year and I won't really care who wins it.

I have a feeling that he would have gotten less games if he'd just admitted that he had the brain-fart of his life and was
really sorry it happened, rather than play the "I was woozy and couldn't get out of the way" card. I think the NHL saw through this and gave him no mercy for this. Tough situation for Wideman but I don't believe for one minute that he couldn't have avoided doing what he did and that it was definitely intentional.

It would be a GREAT story if they got out of this slump and made playoffs, maybe even went far but I have to admit, I just don't see it now either, especially after the footage I saw yesterday of Price hobbling around the ice. He won't be back this season judging by that. What a disappointment this has been from the way things started.

Price should be shut down for the season. He should even get off skates for a few months. Habs have the nucleus of a good team but there's some dead wood on that roster. I was never a Therrien fan but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. However, right now, this team is just not responding. They are ATROCIOUS in their own end, coughing up the puck time and again. Everybody seems to be chasing the puck but nobody is sticking to their assignments. I place this on the coach. He has to go. There are plenty of quality men out there who would love the chance to coach the Montreal Canadiens.

I agree in principle Yves and last night was very indicative of this however....for the past few years, with Therrien, the Habs have been moving in a forward direction. At the beginning of the season they were playing awesome as well with a great start and through a lot of these losses, they have been outshooting the opposition. So...I can't pin this on the coach. I think the biggest problem is that(as mentioned before) we don't have that real big threat or two, a guy or a couple of guys that no-one can contain, like a Toews, Kane, McDavid etc etc etc. With the type of roster they have, can they win the cup? Possibly. But they seem to not be able to or willing to take that big step and get a guy(maybe Stamkos??) who can really put the puck into the net with regularity.
