Congrats to Rangers back up goalie Antti Raanta who shut out the Sharks in his NHL debut. It was only the fourth time in franchise history that a goalie had a shutout in his first start. The last time was in 1957.

Winning 100% of their games? I guarantee they won't keep up that pace all season.

In fact, it probably ends tonight. The Blues have always given us fits...

Great start. Played very well against a team that has been fairly hot to start the season, though that wasn't his NHL debut.

I think he meant in his Rangers debut.

A mere 75 more wins and you'll be eating those words!

I have to wonder if, once the Habs lose one, if they'll go into some sort of tailspin for 3 or 4 games.

The Blues were all over them in the first but Carey shut the door. Habs then got a couple of lucky bounces and threw the wet blanket over the Blues attack. Game over.

Has Dubinsky submitted his trade request yet?

I was thinking the same thing! Dubi is probably crying in a corner right now.

I like Torts in the mix just for his ridiculous outbursts. Glad he's out of NY for sure, but he's good for some laughs.

I guess CBJ won't be winning at The Bell Centre any time soon cause Torts just couldn't pull it off!

Super exciting especially when you're playing it. Also very nerve-racking. We actually just won our game on Tuesday in our men's league with about a minute left in 3-on-3 O.T. but it was just after one of their guys got a breakaway and put it off our post. The key is to not let any guy get away but it's damn near impossible with all that open ice.

Yeah I really like it too. There seems to be a lot of penalties in OT though leading to 4 on 3's.

Pre-season Cup favourite Anaheim has 1 win, has been shut out 3 times, and has scored just 6 goals total in 6 games. Expect Boudreau to be gone if they don't go at least 2-2 on a road trip that takes them to Minnesota, Chicago, Dallas, and St. Louis starting tomorrow.

Tell me about it...Corey Perry is supposed to be my #1 in Fantasy and he doesn't have a point

Rangers looking solid the last 2 games. Henrik is rolling and all 4 lines seem to be gelling well. My only gripe is Dan Boyle. Gets knocked off the puck WAY too easy. I'd rather see Dylan McIlrath out there. I think he's ready.

Holy crap Arizona is a tough team to watch. Their D barely crossed their own blu line all night long! zzzzzz But, they do have some kids like Domi and Duclair that are going to be stars.
