You are correct, I bought a blank Wild jersey and the had the name and numbers customized, then added the patches which I collected seperately

I had seen the Yes patch so I knew it was green, so I wanted a green base so only that one and maybe the Stars would work for this

I think it's brilliant. Nicely done.

And the Leafs end a 3-game losing streak with a 4-0 shutout against Dallas. Nice to go into the Christmas break with a win on the road.

Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays if you prefer) fellow hockey fans!

    Thank you!

I hope your Leafs don't mind my stealing their design as far as the shoulder patches!

5 games in 7 days for the Leafs...beginning with bad loss to the Panthers last night. 4-2 Leafs at the end of the 2nd turned into a 6-4 win for the Panthers.

In other news, only 5 sleeps until Lacrosse season starts.

Nice run of 8 wins in a row had to end last night in Dallas unfortunately.

Just hope it doesn't lead to a losing streak. Habs like to win 6 in a row only to lose 3 or 4 right after...

Right now they're leaning on Price to steal games. That'll come back and bite them in the ass sooner or later. Maybe tonight in FLA...

FLA has been playing very well too. They broke an attendance record for the season last game with almost 17k

Montreal is in town tonight, and it's the Holiday Season, so expect most of the crowd to be Habs fans... It's an annual Holiday tradition!

LOL! That's what I was going to say. When I watched the Leafs/Panthers game last Sunday, there were more Leafs jerseys than Panthers jerseys and chants of Go Leafs Go.

It's probably cheaper to fly to Florida for a Leafs game than buy tickets at the Air Canada Centre.

Good point!! I know that when we play them tonight, there are a TON of NY transplants living there so it'll be like a home game

You 'Mericans get any coverage of the IIHF World Junior Championship ? Just settling in to watch the classic Canada vs USA match-up ! Always a great game! This year's tourney is split between Toronto and Montreal and this game is being played at the Bell Centre.

I've been watching some of the games. There's been some great hockey. Watching the Canada/US game now too...unfortunately I won't be able to watch the whole game as we're off to our annual NYE celebration with some friends (I'll probably also miss the Leafs/Bruins game unless we can convince our hosts to turn off the horrible 80's satellite station they insist on playing in favour of putting the game on).

Monday is my birthday and Hubby and I both have the day off. I thought that maybe we'd go to the Bronze or Gold medal game for my birthday...until I saw ticket prices. The only tickets still available are $200+ each. Yikes! I guess that's not gonna happen.

I love the WJHC, and not just the Canada and US games which is basically the extent of the coverage we get in the US. Since I'm always on break during the tournament I try to watch as much as I can. Canada has been great so far but so has Sweden. Looking forward to the last two periods of the Canada-US tilt.
