Yup, another major prick who should be out of the league. I have a feeling though that this time I think he'll get at least 3 games. Reminds me of that asshole that used to play for the Sharks years ago who was a "knee specialist" (name escapes me right now)

Even three games would be just stupid.

Agreed. But look at Lucic's slap on the wrist for almost neutering DeKeyzer. The league's a joke during playoffs.

Carcillo reminds me a lot of Sean Avery and you need guys like that when you play a team like the Flyers

    This is to funny

Congrats to Yves for the Hab's clean sweep of round one. Not that Yves had anything to do with it, but I'm sure he's happy.

I'm sure all of Canada is happy too ! A short but tough series. Habs sweep first 4!
But watch out, next year we'll have Stamkos with both legs !

It was much closer than it needed to be in the third period last night! Lighting did not go gently into that goodnight! Habs better rest up cause the Bruins are next!

Hopefully Detroit can wear them down for us...

Nah. That's not how I roll. Still a long way to go.

That Carcillo goal and celebration was outstanding though! Especially right after sitting in the box for a penalty that was an awful call on a great defensive play. And a big FU to Berube for throwing that plug Rinaldo out there in the last useless minutes. That dude is going to really hurt someone.

Is it just me or do you guys (and lady) notice more disrespect now between players in these playoffs? I love the physical play, but there seems to be a lot more head shots and just dirty play in general. Of course its the playoffs and the hatred flows, but there seems to be an awful lot of it this go 'round.

This is why you're my favorite Rangers fan.

I hate that kind of crap. Didn't see it, as I had turned the game off long before that, but when you get beaten like that, take it like a man.

Not just in the playoffs, IMO.

Yes. Lunacy by the likes of Lucic. Chicago has been using their sticks a lot. There was the head shot by Seabrook. Marchand barely missed having his knee totalled last night from a knee-on-knee. It's disappointing that these guys feel the end justifies the means.

And it's doubly disappointing that the NHL always slaps candy-ass suspensions on these jerks. If Cooke gets anything less than 4 games (gone for the playoffs and a 10 games next year, would a lot more reasonable, I'd say), it'll be a joke. But we're all used to that by now.

Congrats to the Habs (hah, never thought that I'd say that) and Yves (that part is much easier, lol)!

7 games for Cooke. Better than nothing. I wonder how other players on his team, really feel about him, when he does crap like this?

Some great games last night. Columbus, incredible comeback. Blue-Hawks, intense series. For tonight, go Wings, Sharks and Avs.

I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to watch much of the playoffs, although I've been following them. I did catch part of Tuesday night's Habs game at the Sports Book in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas! ...great place to catch a game if you ever have the opportunity. Lots of Canadians there so a big cheer went out when Montreal scored.

I arrived back home last night with a lighter schedule now that school's out for the term, so I'm hoping to catch a few games this weekend.

And even though my Leafs suck, my lacrosse team are in the playoffs so there's that to keep me going for while.

Gutsy game by Columbus for sure! Pens ain't what they used to be!

I'll be rooting fro Detroit tonight as well. I think the Habs would fare better against them than Boston.

Caesars Palace, huh? That's right in my backyard. Anyway, to the main point. I want a Bruins/Habs series, so Montreal can stomp that punk Charra into the ice, hopefully, and the rest of Boston, also, hopefully.

Wishful thinking, maybe, but I want Boston to go down hard.

Your backyard is one of my favourite places to visit!

I would totally cheer for the Habs (as painful as that might be) if they played the Bruins. That would get me on the bandwagon for sure.

And the slashing that Duncan Keith has been laying on everyone in sight.....not sure how he is still on the ice.

As much as I have loved this game my whole life, these jerks sometimes make it tough. You CAN play great, hard-nosed playoff hockey, without the cheap stuff. Let's hope that's what we get, from here on out.

I was about to say that's how the last three games of the Blues/Blackhawks have been, hard-nosed playoff hockey, but then when you see Backes crunch Hossa into the net after scoring his goal, this is why I did not feel sympathy for the game 2 hit on Backes.

This has been one terrific series, 4 of 5 games end in overtime. And it's looking good now that the Blackhawks are ahead 3 games to 2.
