Thread: Elbow?

They are a good band. I really liked Leaders Of The Free World and The Seldom Seen Kid, those had some really good tunes.

Was a bit disappointed with Build a Rocket, Boys, not that it was bad or anything, it just went in a different direction and I didn't connect with it like the previous two. Haven't really heard anything they've done since, but maybe I should try stepping back in...

And yes, Guy Garvey does indeed have a bit of the ol' "Peter Gabriel" essence in his voice.

I dig me some Elbow. Saw them live a few times. They put on a great show. Guy Garvey's solo album is quite good as well.

Got a cortisone shot about a month ago. Elbow has improved somewhat.

So far i've liked everything i've heard from Elbow, i see Steve's original post is several years old now so i guess he's had a chance to make an informed decision.

I like everything I've heard by them. Guy's voice is indeed superb. One of the few modern singers that grabs me.
