Not a band/artist release per so - but rather an instrument demo album released by Korg, with all songs performed entirely on the Korg Ow1 -
The artist list includes Keith Emerson, Geoff Downes Degar Foresse, Eddie Jobson, Chuck Leavel, Dave Stewart, Jordan Rudess (w Jack Hotop, formerly (long ago) of Rat Race Choir, Rick Wakeman, Joe Zawinul, etc.

I don't think this was actually available in stores, but it was available at no cost "upon request" from Korg.
This one's still available at discogs.

I have had (for a long time) Chick Corea - The Song Of Singing, which I think I played once.

"The Wind" by the 60s band Circus Maximus (w/Jerry Jeff Walker in the band, believe it or not) is the first song I thought of. Still play it.
    Got it.
    A true classic.

^^ I love that Kay Martin cover. Having never heard of her, I Googled her. I don't know who this woman is but I like her. She seems nice.

There's something about her, but I can't put my finger on it.

And anyone who ever thought Ringo was a hack should listen to this album.

Bought it for a buck and have never listened to it.
I have all of these, love the Plastic Ono Band, used samples from the Agnew live in performance, and recently played "Whole Lotta Love" by the Kazoo Orchestra on my radio show out of Northern California (KOWS).

Here's the album I'm betting no one else has here:

CD: Lead and Thoughts and Spears

A mix of spacerock, shoegaze, dreampop, ambient experimental, progressive, a bit like Michael Brook, spacey, swirling guitars, found their lone CD in a used music store that allows you to listen before you buy and I was attacked by the spacey cover art... Not much info about them out there, they do have a facebook page and here is another link:

    They disgust me.

This thread was great! Didn't I start it?

Did anyone else have a very 80s album called Waiting for the Floods by a band called The Armoury Show? I enjoyed that in the day.

Got it. And saw their first ever ever gig, above the Edinburgh Playhouse.

Jobson gave McGeoch an earful when they disagreed about which song to play next, at one point. McGeoch swung a punch towards Jobson's extensive chin. After which, Jobson deferred to McGeoch's opinions on the set list.

Disappointing lp, given the band & their provenance (Magazine & Skids alumni - a kind of reverse image of Big Country).

All Right, great to know this site has some Partch fans (Misters mogrooves and Steve F), so I lost the prize there. Now deeper into the collection bog I sink to retrieve this one:

"Mind Tripping" by Dr. Frances Stern. Anyone else go on this adventure?
