Still the best Christmas album, imo :

    Agreed, Yves.

Anyone have any of Mr. Guaraldi's other recordings? Are they similar? Recommendations?

Besides the one I posted above called Natal (Christmas), are there any other 2015 Christmas song releases related to this kind of genre or other?

Most of us here in North America are in bed or on the way! Still, I'm sure there will be some late night responses.

Thanks to all for the posts - makes for some nice listening!

Seconded. But I'm a fan of Ms. McLachlan's, so I may be biased.

LOVE this! Gives most of my friends & family a chuckle.

I also recommend Pentatonix' two Christmas albums.

I picked up a copy of the Take 6 He is Christmas cd today. Even though it's after Christmas I want to give this a shot and see how it is. I listen to the first couple of songs on the way home and must admit that they have a great ability for arranging music.

That they do! They write some great original material too (although the only original on He Is Christmas is the title track)! If you want to explore their non-Christmas albums, I'd recommend their first two, "Take 6" and "So Much 2 Say." The 3rd and 4th ones are only partially a capella (several tracks with a band, which makes them sound sort of like Earth Wind & Fire with richer vocal harmonies) and their 5th, "So Cool" is a return to pure a capella and it is pretty cool. It does get a little "samey" once you exceed 3 of their albums though.

Got to admit. This is really well done. Takes some time to adjust yourself to Christmas music being performed like this though. I think if it wasn't Christmas music I would have approached it with a different frame of mind.
