    One Liners

Heard Peter Gabriel's Book Of Love for the first time tonight on South Park.

Some of it's transcendental, some of it's really dumb.

    Just, wow.

If only I could write as well. Seeing it written(and how I knew it was Peter Gabriel defies me, really) it's just so right and yet so silly.

Deep Purple - You're Gemini and I don't know which one I like the most.

    Anyway, this should be fun.

It wasn't written by Gabriel ....

Fun fact: When Big Generator came out, I was attending Kutztown University. We had a snack bar on campus called - you guessed it - Chez Nous.

"Chapter One says to love her, love her with all your heart, chapter two you tell her you're never, ever, ever, ever, ever gonna' part, in chapter three remember the meaning of romance, in chapter four you break up, but you give her just one more chance"

The doo-wop devil in my DNA was responsible for that.

    Frikikin' Mets. Anyway...

So Pete didn't come up with it, that's cool. It's still cracks me up. Sometimes things get summed up so succinctly that it just works for me and that's one of them.

A hearty LMFAO at Chez Nous.

Not by a longshot; originally recorded by The Monotones and released in '58.

I remember a panel from an R. Crumb comic; it's depicting his miserable high school days when all females rejected him... and that tune is playing from somebody's radio.

Yeah, that was the song I thought of to. I'm not a huge doo-wop fan, but certain songs I heard quite a bit of when I was little, either because they were on the American Graffiti soundtrack or because of Sha-Na-Na (I can't believe we actually watched their TV show at the time).
