I won this at an auction for €15/ $16,50. I think I did well considering it goes for much higher on the 'net.
I'm a big fan of the man's work and this one was missing from my collection.
Talking CD here, the LP is much easier to find.
I could've gone with El-Ahrairah which is more widely available, but the Watership Down version has a very nice and long bonus track.
Thoughts? Opinions?

To my knowledge Music Inspired by Watership Down and El-Ahrairah are exactly the same music. Besides the bonus track.
Its a nice and quiet album, but not as adventurous as the previous 3.
Magicians Hat is my favorite.
I bought the album (vinyl) because I loved the book. Couldn't get into Hansson's music. Haven't listened to it in decades. Maybe this weekend...

Got into Bo Hansson via Lord of the Rings (natch!) but this was always my favourite of his. It's got some beautiful tunes on it, some nice guitar work (more than on any other of his albums) and I like the crisper, clearer production compared to the others which always seemed a bit muddy to me.
