LeBron wants to win one more for Cleveland before he gets one for Philly.

A lot to like, but they're very young and playoff inexperienced. They've got 2 exceptional talents, however they had 2 top picks they deemed not a fit, and hopefully they got lottery picks for them. (Not interested enough to look it up.) Had they hit on them, they might have been able get take on the Warriors in a year or so.

LeBron has deep ties to Philly. He ate a cheese steak once, and when he was a kid, he threw a snowball at a guy dressed like Santa.

I don't know if I can call LeBron the GOAT, but he's damn close.

What the hell, I wanna see Cavs/Warriors IV. But, the Cavs would lose again to them. Still, what LeBron has done in his career is remarkable. I hope he stays in Cleveland.

Listening to a discussion on radio about LeBron. The host asking any LeBron haters if after seeing this series they still hate LeBron. One caller tells the host that there is a reason why Lebron has stayed in the Eastern Conference and just insulted Lebrons legacy.

I personally respect LeBron for staying in the east throughout his career. Yeah, he's the most dominant player in the east. He's carrying this team and single handedly dismantling the number 1 seed in the Conference. Good for him. Personally, I just don't see why he'd go anywhere else. You really think if he goes to the Lakers or Knicks that he's gonna instantly be in the Finals? He'd stand a better chance with the Sixers but I think he should stay in Cleveland. Get some players (stars) around him that want to play with him.

^ Everything hinges on 2 things: How the Cavaliers season ends, and where and who they draft. If those don't break Cleveland's way, I think he's probably gone.
He did not know that the sword he'd hold, would turn his priceless empire into fool's gold...

As long as he stays in the east that's okay. Lebron still has 5 good years I think.

I totally missed it being out of town at ROSfest, but the Pistons let go of Stan Van Gundy and will be searching for a new head coach. In the 4 years Stan was here, the Pistons only made the playoffs once. He still had a year on his contract.

The Celtic player who intercepted the final inbound pass at the end of tonight’s game: did he travel after he caught the ball?

They don't call it in the NBA.

    Bingo.

This is one of my biggest issues with the NBA - the officiating really needs some work.

But that didn't really affect the outcome of that series. The Celtics are just a far better team than the Sixers, at this moment. I (and most of the Philadelphia Metro area) underestimated them. And they'll be even better next year. The Sixers have a lot of work to do.

The Celtic player traveled with under a second to go. That's enough time to get one shot off to win the game.

Well if you're going to apply that logic they need to go back and correct every travel by both teams not just the last one. You'll probably cancel 10 baskets from each team. Can't isolate just the last play.

    Right.

Also, they shouldn't have been in that position (needing a miracle shot to win the game), anyway. Too many missed opportunities.

Correct. And that is why it should be an enforced rule.

I agree with that. But I'm not going to complain about one blown call costing them the game.

It was more an example of why they should have the rule enforced. I can't stand to see the traveling rule not enforced when one of these ballers pretty much walks to the basket with ball-in-hand from the 3-point line.

Oh I 100% agree with you there, it makes me grind my teeth whenever I see it, why coach the kids fundamentals when they aren't going to ref it in the pro's?

The Raptors went 59-23, and earned the top seed in the Eastern Conference. Their coach, Dwane Casey, was voted Coach of the Year by his peers.

    He was just fired.
