Glad to see he's still working. His voice is amazingly intact -- it's like he hasn't aged in the past 30 years. The song itself I find to be pretty "meh", but it's not terrible.
Very nice tune! Justin has seemed somewhat disinterested in recording as of late. I'm surprised he's put something out. Would love for a new Moodies record to see the light of day but I'll be quite happy with a new Hayward album.

Pretty much what I expected. Predictable pop, but okay. Lyrics are kinda trite.
I expected just one new track. Didn't realize it's from a new album Spirits of the Western Sky.
The song is pretty average, but JH could sing just about anything and it would work for me.
I'm pretty sure "hordes" isn't exactly the best choice of a rhyme for "door", however. I don't think I'll ever be able to hear that line as anything other than "Now I kneel before your door/Now I'll pray that you'll receive me/And open wide your glorious whore..."
Ha! I was thinking exactly the same thing. I have to admit, though, I'm a sucker for JH's voice and his songs. He just seems to have this certain something that pushes all the right buttons for me, so I can excuse the occasional clunkers in the lyrics so long as the melodies are still intact. And ditto the comment about his voice: it sounds just as it did 20 years ago, or maybe even more!
