Songs that reference a calendar date

Not sure how many we'll get but I'll open the bidding with Rush, "Lakeside Park" - "...everyone would gather on the 24th of May..."

The parameters are that it can't be the name of a holiday - that's too easy, i.e Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years day, Independence Day, etc... but it can be the calendar date, December 25, January 1, July 4, etc. It can also include the year, i.e. May 3, 1955, but at the least it has to have a month and numerical day.
You say Mega Ultra Deluxe Special Limited Edition Extended Autographed 5-LP, 3-CD, 4-DVD, 2-BlueRay, 4-Cassette, five 8-Track, MP4 Download plus Demos, Outtakes, Booklet, T-Shirt and Guitar Pick Gold-Leafed Box Set Version like it's a bad thing...

Not too many bands named after calendar dates. The only one I can think of is The Ides of March.

yea, that was the first thing that crossed my mind when I read the thread title, I would've thought there'd have been quite a few by now.

The Irish Rover - The Dubliners (among others)

On the Fourth of July, 1806
We set sail from the sweet Cove of Cork
We were sailing away with a cargo of bricks
For the Grand City Hall in New York
    'Twas a wonderful craft
She was rigged fore and aft
And oh, how the wild wind drove her
    She stood several blasts
    She had twenty seven masts
And they called her The Irish Rover

There are several by Bruce Springsteen, but they don't mention the date specifically. Probably there was no need to.

but it doesn't mention the actual date (see the first post in the thread). Same applies to "New Year's Day", which is disqualified for the same reason.
