Based on posts like these (which are also in various Canterbury-threads) I finally bought this one too. Very good alternative-album for New Symphonia (which I bought on LP back in 1976 and later on the expanded CD).

I agree that Fairfield Halls is a live peak for the band. They are confident, tight, and pitch perfect on the vocals. Also I'm very impressed with Geoff's lead guitar work.

For those of you who want more live Caravan I recommend the Live 1975 UK tour disc. It was a legitimate release that went OOP about 10 years ago, so I bought the mp3s from Amazon. I rarely do that but I'm happy to have the thing in any form available. Mostly the same tunes as Fairfield but the improvs are different enough to make it worth owning. And it's got Dabsong on it.
