    Anglagard in New Jersey 11/13/15

NJ Proghouse presents: An evening with Änglagård
    (November 13, 2015)

    THEIR ONLY USA APPEARANCE!
    Friday, November 13th 2015 | 8:00PM Show | 7:30PM Doors
where: Roxy & Dukes | 745 Bound Brook Rd, Dunellen, NJ

Änglagård (formed in Stockholm, Sweden 1991) has made a remarkableimpression over the years in the vintage sounding niche of progressiverock music.

Nowadays known for their very unique sound and inventive compositions, they established themselves as a cult band after a great success playing at Progfest in Los Angeles 1993, where jaw-dropped fans ran to the merchandise booth directly after the gig only to find out that the record was sold out in a few minutes. Since then, a lot has happened: New members have arrived, and some serious touring has made the band exceptionally solid. Their latest studio album 2012 ”Viljans
Öga” smashed the prog charts yet again and resulted in touring Japan and Mexico, as well as concerts in Portugal, France, USA, Belgium.

Anna Holmgren: Flute, Saxophone and Mellotron
    Tord Lindman: Guitar
    Johan Brand: Bass
    Linus Kåse: Keyboards and Saxophone
Erik Hammarström: Drums, Vibraphone, Glockenspiel and Percussion
    Jonas Engdegård: Guitar

Well...I just realized I will be coming back from several very tiring days in Chicago...probably on Wednesday or Thursday. Can I do it? Am I too old?

Only US appearance. Expensive to come to the US for just one show. Are they playing in Canada?

Hope to see many of you in New Jersey! It will be the last possibility to see us playing live for some time, as we are planning to take a break from touring after February. We will focus on a new album instead. There might be a few shows if it fits in, but I doubt it!

I 'm really looking forward to this. I'm flying back from Bermuda on business that afternoon. I'm hoping that my flight will not be delayed because as it stands now, it is cutting it close.

Never been to the NJ Proghouse, and just got my tickets! And then seeing Bent Knee the next night in Allston, MA. Going to be a great weekend of live music!

Can't wait for this. Never been to NJ Proghouse; flying up from NC Friday morning.

They played their first show of the tour the other night in Tokyo, has anybody seen a setlist floating around? Not that it matters much, whatever they play will be awesome.
