I'm not sure what you mean but I do think everyone who has posted has their own definition of perfect.
Well, in this case, perfection implies that there is nothing you'd change in an album if you had a saying in the process... This also implies that one shouldn't have many albums he considers perfect... this is why I never used a 15 rating in Gnosis (as I did use less than 5% overall of 5* ratings in ProgArchives)... As Illusionist implies, posting a list of 20 "perfect albums" seems a bit incongruous to me... (it's feasible, of course.... but it is "tainted", IOurHO)

And even with Trane's ALS or Tull's TAAB, there is a few notes here and there I'd have changed...

Dozens of albums, there is a weaker song (Saturdays in LTIA), Love To in G&P), etc....
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

    Exactly.

And like you I have dozens of fav albums that are far from perfect:
I love The Stranglers, but they never made a perfect album- far from it.
I love Queen & my fav Queen LP News of the World contains that God awful track "We Will Rock You" that is totally misplaced on that LP - if I had a say I'd replace it with another ballad to better match the mellow feel of the album.

    Yes-The Yes Album, Relayer
    Santana-Caravanserai
    Return to Forever-Medievel Warrior
    Camel-Mirage
    Wishbone Ash-Argus
I could probably think of more, but that'll do for now.

Bruford - One of a Kind

That's the only album I can come up with that I think is perfect.

IF you took out We Will Rock You, what track would News Of The World open with?

Move "Sheer Heart Attack" up from 3 to 1, retain the rest of the running order from "We Are The Champions" onwards and then add another ballad at the end.
