I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Sure! Are they any good? Any similarity to UK? More ambient / soundtrack? I might like those.

One piece from Pink, "Antarctica", was put on the Zealots' Lounge. He reportedly told a fan in 2011 that he had plans to release the whole album, but I've not heard anything since. It does appear that he's got Legacy and Pink both completed or close to completion. I would be more interested in a crowdfunded campaign to release those two than in remasters of the existing UK material.

I believe Antarctica was from Theme of Mystery, not Pink. Jobson later added 2 more tracks Dawn & Theme of Mystery for "free" download to Zealots members. I didn't renew my membership after club rates went up in 2013, so maybe he even put more tracks out there the past couple years??

Ah. You may well be right.

There wasn't much when I quit. There was a short piece he'd done for an advert(?).

Looks like Jobson has seen what Fripp's been doing and wants to get into the action. There's going to be a 16 disc UK box.
Here's a screengrab of a video he recently put up on Facebook:

I was hoping that at some stage we would get the full Night After Night release. One of my favourite albums, but too short.
Does this potential 16CD release not overlap significantly though with the Boxed Set coming out in January?

It says 2xCDs next to that title.

I believe it is the boxed set, unless there's another one I'm not aware of. It's now projected for April.

Looks nice, but I'm not sure. I don't need blu-rays and without bonus-tracks the original 2 albums are not of much use either.

Me too. I'd be buying it for 7 discs, including an interviews disc and an extras disc that doesn't sound super exciting. And I'm including buying Live in Boston again. Mmmm... maybe.

A 16-CD set for a band that had what, two hours of material if you stretch it? Oh yeah, that's not a cash grab!

    my thoughts exactly
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

I wish Jobson would move away from the UK thing a bit as he could be releasing some more interesting new or unreleased material. That said, UK was his greatest personal success and what most seem to be interested in. I don't agree with the "cash grab" comment as negatively stated as he has a right to put it out there and isn't twisting anyone's arms to buy it. Yes, the band only had two albums, but 35+ years later, people still seem pretty interested.

UK, who were so much better live, have not been served well by live releases, so there's certainly material here worth getting (if you like UK!). But, yes, there have been better ratios of new material to existing material in box sets.

But, you know, they're a Crimson spin-off band, so it seems only fitting they should follow the path Crimson has shown.

Eddie Jobson has the right to do as he want.
I don't want to get his music for free, I just want to buy his music for a reasonable price, without buying a lot of stuff I allready have or have no interest in. I'm also not wanting to join some kind of club, to be able to buy his music. And I want to be able to buy the stuff the same way I buy other music.

I'd really like to see a reasonably priced release of the Four Decades DVD. I was supposed to see that tour but EJ switched it to a U.K. show -- due to poor sales I think. And the theater was still less than half full. Maybe the $75 price tag for tix had something to do with that.

He said something about not being able to release it outside Japan due to the deal that he signed.

Sadly, an example of the regrettable situation Eddie is in. UK seems to be what most people are interested in. Half filled theaters didn't seem to be an issue for the UK shows.

The box set is supposed to be the end of his UK work.
