Same here. But at least there is an embarrassment of riches to choose from these days (in a good way).

Does it have a more upbeat energetic vibe? Too many slow tunes on the last one.

"Lampblack" was my favorite track from the last album, so I'm OK with the slow tunes.

    Pre-ordered.

Unless you go the pre-sale route, digital downloads won't be available until the album is released on July 31st.

I loved the last album, and I pre-ordered this one, and am excited to hear new music from them. I'm just not sure how much longer I can keep justifying $30 Cds, which with exchange rate and postage, this is costing me. For Echolyn, I'm certainly happy to do it.

    Very exciting.

I too like smashing large rocks into small ones.

Loved the last album, especially the hopelessly dark "Some Memorial." However, I'd be delighted if they could find some way to combine the fresh optimism and joie de vivre of the first 2 albums with what they've learned about rock in the interim. But who can blame them for taking on a darker perspective over time?

    Regardless, can't wait.

Samples, or that which might be close enough, are up on their facebook page if anyone here is on that...prematurely judging i'm a bit iffy on this one, but can't wait to be proven wrong!
