Brezhnev Fun Club ~ Il misantropo felice

This is out now a while on Altrock.

    Anyone heared it yet? Opinions?

I saw some pretty positive reviews on the net. Here for instance:

I will probably order this as soon as there are a couple more new ones on Altrock I want to have.

I like it, but somehow miss the vocals (but will be the only one who does)

I'm one of the others, the vocals on the last one did nothing for me.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Pretty excellent. Gets a little 'lite' for me at times, but there are alot of positives throughout.

    A will buy for sure.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Bumping this up from the past because I just listened to this group and album for the first time. Very enjoyable chamber rock with a good amount of Zappa influence. What I most enjoy about it is that it is very positive sounding music -- a lot different than some of the chamber rock out there which makes me feel like I'm waiting for Hitler or Satan to show up.

    🇮🇹, 2015.
Italy really is a country where any true progressive rock subgenre is foundable. BFC is one of the double-shot-albums bands, and sounds likes Zappa, and Henry Cow for the no-lyric and no-expection sides. This rich one-piece concept album mostly deals with an intricate windy orchestra mainly rhythmed with piano, percussion and drums. There is a lil place for peaceful melodic parts (e.g. in the nice chunk #11 After the Last Silence) or female choir.

I'm in very loose contact with him. If I ask him if he is sill working on the third one he always says yes, still there doesn't seem to be much progress.
