Ever since I got turned onto Nik Bartsch Ronin I've been looking for more and more music mining the areas of jazz and rock featuring heavily repetitive base structure with interwoven patterns build from there. The stuff that takes Reich & Riley and applies it to Rock & Jazz. My understanding is that The Necks were one of the originators of this style and current practitioners include Nik Bartsch Ronin, Brandt Brauer Frick, Sonar, Dawn Of Midi.
Thoughts on this style and particular favorites?

I've grabbed some shows off Dime by EIVIND AARSET and NILS PETTER MOLVAER. Haven't had time to listen to them but they might be something to check out.

All of the folks you named + The Claudia Quintet, which SS named - it isn't a particularly large field at this time. At least not that I know of and I am pretty interested in it and paying attention to it.

Of the Claudia Quintet I've got Royal Toast & September, which are both great, and plan to pick up What Is The Beautiful. What else of there's is in this minimalist style?

I would start, actually, with the 1st two, which have the most 'adherence' to this style, imo.

Sonar and Dawn of MIDI are my personal favorites, although I dig Ronin quite a bit as well.

The BBF disc I have isn't that great, IMO. I have never even heard of Dawn of Midi, but will check them out.

If you don't like that one then they're probably not for you, I do find them fairly polarizing. That's probably their best album and the other two are a similar style.

If you can, go for the 2nd Porticos lp - Isla - it's their best, I think.Oh Man that is exactly what I'm looking for, wonderful stuff, off to buy 2 albums immediately
Also, definitely go for the 2nd GoGos lp - v2.0 - a big improvement on their first outing.
You might also want to check out Mammal Hands - they suppoted the Penguins on their recent tour, &, when I saw them, turned in a better performance, & have, I think, more potential for developing in the future:
