Symphonic Theater of Dreams - a Symphonic Tribute to Dream Theater

Anyone heard this ? It's got some positive reviews on Amazon!!!

This is a tribute to Dream Theater. Michal Mierzejewski, Polish conductor and composer and a dedicated DT fan, had the idea to arrange DT songs in a 'classical' environment that had never been done before...

    1. Overture - When Dreams Come True
    Michal Mierzejewski & Sinfonietta Consonus
    2. Hell's Kitchen
    Michal Mierzejewski & Sinfonietta Consonus
    3. Sacrificed Sons
    Michal Mierzejewski & Sinfonietta Consonus
    4. Beneath the Surface
    Michal Mierzejewski & Sinfonietta Consonus
    5. The Ministry of Lost Souls
    Michal Mierzejewski & Sinfonietta Consonus
    6. Losing Time / Grand Finale

It's probably not dissimilar to this:

    but with more players?

I listened to the String Quartet a few times, and it was sympathetically done, but in the end, it's no substitute for the real thing.

Same with Apocalyptica - a novelty for a while, but then it wears off - still, you could try this as a sampler:

Also Eren Basbug, who has worked with DT as an arranger and conductor.

Have the second, but not the first. I'd imagine the first is better though. Not much impressed with the String Quartet. I like the Rush one better.
