    For Blues/Rock Fans

I stumbled across this guy demoing some guitar gear I was interested in on YouTube. He's strictly from the Hendrix/Stevie Ray Vaughan mold. I'm not the fan of this kind of stuff that I used to be, but I couldn't help admiring this guy's take on it. It's nothing I haven't heard before, but he's got so much balls and attitude that I just couldn't not dig it!

That's really cool, and that battered strat looks totally badass in the context of the music.

Not bad. It's nothing new but at least it's good to see young bucks like this still strapping on Stratocasters and paying tribute to Jimi Hendrix.

Sayce is great. I discovered him through Classic Rock Magazine a few years ago and have several albums. Have not had the chance to see him live, but certainly would if he came around here.

<sarcasm> oh joy, another hat with a strat </sarcasm>

Yeah, he's good...great attitude and it also helps that hes got an excellent rhythm section....Hes got a bit of a Frank Marino approach in his playing but, still, I was done with this sound/look a decade-and-a-half-ago

    Seriously.

The guy can surely play. But, I have to slightly disagree with the OP about the Hendrix/SRV mode. That label isn't fair to Jimi.

But can they walk on water?
