Probably something to the effect of 'this will make 'em shit their pants with expectation, the lovely, daft twits', came up. Looks like they're having some fun at least. Never ever would I have guessed that was them, tho.

I wouldn't have recognized Minnear, but both Schulmans for sure. Phil just has that face. Less hair, same face.

They are discussing the proposal of being green-screened into a live concert from Aspen last fall.

Three friends, for sure.
"Always ready with the ray of sunshine"
I don't think that's Phil, I believe it's Ray on the right, Derek in the middle.
It is cool to see them together, whatever they're discussing. I just spun Free Hand the other night and was struck by the interplay between Ray and Kerry, particularly on His Last Voyage. Simply unbelievable. I'd love to hear new music from these guys, I don't care if they toured or not. Of course I saw Three Friends with Kerry in Montreal, so that itch has sort of been scratched. But if they were up to dong some new challenging music, I'd love it.
Strongly doubt it will happen though.
Bill
They were fantastic composers.
They dont have to tour or play live...
Kerry's "menu music" for the GG DVDs was pretty darn cool! They could still write some great stuff if they were so inclined. But that's the million dollar question!
Yeah, finally found a (used) copy of GG at the GG and that menu music is worth the price of admission alone!

They're discussing the latest remasters and Scrapping the Barrel II which includes Gary cursing while stringing his guitar, Kerry taking his keyboards out of their cases and Derek humming take me out to the ball game after imbibing too much ale.

Has this 'interview' with Kerry been posted? Warm and insightful. Is Anthony a member here?
Thanks for the interview.
Funny video in there

A 40 year old interview with a 28 year old Kerry from Keyboard magazine. Man, I'm gettin' old!
Words cannot express how much I love GG.

What a time warp looking at the reproductions of the original pages with all those ads!
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.
This is THE band that really opened my ears to a new world. I'll never forget the gig a Louie's Rock City in 77'. What a great, great band - there will never be another like them. I wouldn't trade one second of their music for all the Micheal Jackson and Prince records in the world. Pfffffffffffffffffft!!!!
Great article.......Praise for Zappa & Corea was nice to read.
They looked good at the Prog Magazine awards. Sorry not to see Gary Green though.
