I remember one time I accidentally turned my Panasonic cassette recorder into a guitar amp. It's true. I was trying to record something and the "play" and "rec" keys got stuck between the up and down position, then I heard some feedback. I started talking into the mic and my voice came out of the speaker. Then that lightbulb on the top o' me head illuminated and I thought ....what if I put the mic in the sound hole of my cheap, POS acoustic guitar? And there you go. I was creating the cheapest, distorted, feedbacky noises you could imagine. True story, and hilarious.
^^ And you try and tell the young people of today that...
This what I got to play my records on

mine looked like the green one on the top of the page. Just a single play unit...for the record, no pun intended, my first record was All I have to do is Dream, by the Everly Brothers on 45, I still have it.
