Bob's Cryptic Album quiz No. 2

Answers are names of albums, not all necessarily "prog", but well known, and definitely should be known to most members of this forum.

    1. Ornamental plantations making sibilant sounds in a certain season.
    2. Special equipment's needed to deal with what's on the whiteboard.
    3. Popular with Mexicans at sporting events.
    4. Jefferson Airplane member feeling stressed out.
    5. 1987, for example.
    6. Thoroughfare used by monks, presumably.
    7. A cardigan or a jumper is quite acceptable.
    8. Don't lose these, or you'll go mad!
    9. Where the whiskey in the jar came from?
    10. Columbus, for example.

The title is correct, but I had the Tony Banks album in mind. Can't mark you wrong though.

    3 Waves
10 I was thinking of Mike Oldfield, but the album's called Discovery and not Discoverer. How about Voyager, though?

You're on the right track, in both cases, but not fully there.

    Not THAT eraser.

Instead of "equipment" I probably should have said "equipment's".

Interesting - I've noticed before with these quizzes that the ones I expect to be easy and go off straight away often seem to be the ones that stump people.

    Some further clues:

No. 6 was this band's last recorded album.

No. 3: "Waves" is half right.

You are NOT getting more clues for No. 2! that should have been the first to go off.

Do Mexican people do the wave more than people of other backgrounds?

    What is 2?

I don't know if Mexicans do it more often, but I believe it's generally called a "Mexican Wave".

No. 2 is "Hand. Cannot. Erase." by Steven Wilson.

I can't believe no one got that. With all the discussion about that album on this board, I thought that would be the first one to go off.
