On top of his pioneering work with direct-to-disk recording (some of the best souonding audiophile recordings are his), co-founder of Sheffield Labs, founder of The Mastering Lab (the first independent mastering facility in the world), he was a 2 time Grammy winner and responsible for mastering some of the all time great albums, from the late 60's all the way up to this year.
