“Remember, if it doesn't say "Cuneiform," it's not prog!” - THE Jed Levin
Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]
"Death to false 'support the scene' prog!"
please add 'imo' wherever you like, to avoid offending those easily offended.
Thanks, I forgot to mention this is a Cuneiform release!
Wow, who wasn't dreaming about that one ?
Actualy this one will really be rereleased in April (so duck and cover!)
I will go rather for Stephane Lemaire's new Album if it Comes to Musea Records...

Yes, it's on the brand new subsidiary label Rune Elite. Steve had the near-impossible option between launching it by way of Deyss or those never-before heard extras from Mingus' appearance at Antibes, and after weeks of painstaking contemplance in a closed penthouse suite at the Waldorf Astoria with a case of Jack D. and reruns of Streets of San Francisco on the large screen, his choice fell on the Deyss.
Comes with extended booklet with special guest liner notes by Rufus (he refused to participate in the Mingus possibility due to this inevitably being abitta jazz).
Next in line on this elite label is one of the last leftovers from the mythical original string of RIO chamber-rock rehearsal intensives:
"Improvisation is not an excuse for musical laziness" - Fred Frith
"[...] things that we never dreamed of doing in Crimson or in any band that I've been in," - Tony Levin speaking of SGM

The promo Video for that release (new artwork and bonuses revealed from about 4:30)
^^
Unreal!
Spread the rumour in the corridors of Prog Mag (do they even have corridors?) that it's a Kscope release (with that guyproducing) and they'll be eating it right off the table.

I'm still waiting for the Flame Dream remasters with liner-notes by Dale Hauskins.
Note : The 5.1 mix is particularly enjoyable in that the vocal track has its dedicated speaker, which you can set up sufficiently far away from the others (2-3 miles minimum recommended) so you don't hear it.
Steven Wilson : "This is probably the warmest-sounding, lively and colourful surround mix I have ever been involved in".

Happy April Fools day to you guys also!
Of course Deyss are aware about the vocal issues on "At King". The original plans where to rerecord the Album with
"Jester". This never happend as "Jester" ran away into the Swiss Alps after he learned that Fish left Marillion.
The band tried hard to find "Jester", but he was not to be found until today.
There where some steps taken to carry on, but Patrick Aeschlimann as the new vocalist never worked out.
So for this new Box Set Remaster of the Album they hired Englishmen vocalist and actor "Guy Barnes" to do the vocals.
Guy was supposed to act as "Jester" but gave away the secret on his Website, so he was fired....

Fools day is almost over so..
The shocking truth: Almost everything I posted is true (!) just taken out of context. All the Videos I posted are offical Deyss Videos!
(just not for "At King" but an Album called "Ledgends of Life" that was recorded in 2013 but never came out (till now))
(The "Jester" ain't lost in the Alps and Guy wasn't fired, though)
