I think it's closer to Wayne Shorter's jazz standard, "Footprints."

Yes, it's nothing like 25 or 6, but what I meant is that it is the riff that is very pronounced throughout, like Weather Report's Birdland. I must confess I've never heard Footprints before and I was having a hard time picking up the riff, especially through my tinny computer speakers. My first Miles Davis album was 'Get Up With it' and I didn't get any of the melodies or riffs.
