    New Cro Magnon tune

    Cro Magnon - Kikkerbad: https://youtu.be/E6fht-J5aNg

New album is announced for this spring and there is also a gig in Paris together with Aranis http://www.letriton.com/programmation/aranis-1683

Actually i have never heared Cro Magnon except for the odd tune on youtube (which I liked). This might be the time to investigate. I will see if I can make it to the gig in Paris.

    Any opinions on this band?

Have they even released anything since Bull some 20 years ago?!

Yes, back in 2004 they released the Brosella Suite under the name Cro Magnon & [Bub]. A very fine album.

i'll be on the lookout for this... saw them twice around the time of the Bub release, but I would've preferred seeing them live around the Bull era

I agree with that. To me Bull is their best.

Are you sure there's not at least one umlaut in Cro Magnon?

Finally, the new album is out! Listening now to the disc received firsthand from Geert Waegeman.
After the first spin I already like it. Doesn't sound quite like "Bull?" - it would say it's more mature and less crazy work. However it was exactly craziness and unpredictability that attracted me in the former album...

Yes, it's called "Floww." I heard it was being offered in CD-R form from Geert himself, very limited edition. Not sure if/when it gets a real release.

It has been released, now it's official. The problem is, there's no distribution apparently.

Seems to be a Belgian thing...

Finnegans Wake's last album was absolutely not distributed (at least that I know of)

yes, but if i can't get a handful (all I can sell) at what will be considered a reasonable price by the people hinting at me on this forum, I can't do it, as no one will buy them from us.

That basically rules out buying direct from the band, due to shipping costs of said handful.

Guys, I'll check with Geert how much would it cost if he ships the discs to US directly. Will keep you posted.

This is what Geert replied to me:

Hi Alexander, <for USA> I think we can make it for 20 €. They can order via my FB or our Cro Magnon page.
